Payout Policy

1. Overview
This Instructor Payout Policy explains how instructors are compensated for services booked through The Pickleball Institute platform (“TPI”, “we”, “our,” or “us”).
By offering services on the platform, instructors agree to the payment structure and terms outlined below.
2. Revenue Split
For each completed booking made through The Pickleball Institute:
• Instructor Share: 50% of the lesson price
• Platform Share (TPI): 50% of the lesson price
The split is calculated based on the total lesson fee paid by the player, excluding applicable taxes and processing fees unless otherwise stated.
Example:
Lesson Price: $80
Instructor receives: $40
TPI retains: $40
3. Payment Processing
All payments from players must be processed through The Pickleball Institute platform.
Instructors agree that they will not accept off-platform payments for bookings originating through TPI, that all pricing displayed in the app is the official transaction amount, and that TPI will collect payments on behalf of instructors and distribute earnings accordingly.
4. Payout Schedule
Instructor earnings will be paid according to the following schedule:
• Standard Payout: Weekly payouts
• Processing Time: 2–5 business days after payout initiation
• Minimum Payout Threshold: $0 (or insert your preferred minimum)
Payouts are issued only for completed lessons. TPI reserves the right to adjust payout timing for risk review, fraud prevention, or compliance purposes.
5. Eligibility for Payment
Instructors are eligible for payment only when the lesson has been completed, no active dispute is in progress, the instructor account is in good standing, and required tax and banking information is provided.
